Turtles
Last night was the rehearsal dinner and ceremony. Great food, little dancing, and we saw turtles. Yes, turtles were the highlight of my evening. The previous night some people went down to the beach and saw massive turtles coming up and laying eggs and returning to the Ocean. Last night we saw hundreds of baby turtles making the trek back to the water. It was pretty amazing to see those little suckers trying to break through the surf. Half of the time the waves would just deposit the turtles back further up the beach than they were before. I got tired just watching them.
So tonight is the big night. It's going to be a beautiful ceremony having seen the walk through yesterday. I think when I get married I may need to do it on the beach.
I also went surfing yesterday and now understand the importance of having a rashguard. Wow are my nipples chaffed. No surfing for this kid today, just walking the beach.
