Matt Rawn Turns 30

Ahh 30... I remember when I turned 30, barely. What a fun evening that was. Last night a college friend of mine joined us in the 30's age bracket. I've heard with technology and the way our lives have sped up, 30 is the time to have a mid-life crisis. Don't let it get to you Woody.

The 30's are great. As someone once said, "my 30's were when I corrected everything I did wrong in my 20's". So far I've found that to be true. I haven't fixed everything yet, but I'm getting there. I will say I definitely wish I knew what I know now in my twenties.

For Matt's 30th, we celebrated downtown at Fado. Adam, Nicole, Sarah and I went down early and grabbed dinner. Then around 8 o'clock the rest of the surprise party showed up. It was a great evening. I pretty much stuck to drinking Matt's wine. He owns and operates Two Mountain Winery. If you have a chance, be sure to try some.

Since many of the party-goers are in their 30's, the party ended a little early. Well okay, we left early anyway. Adam and I had to get up early for skiing the next morning, so we left around 11:00 pm.

Here's a few images from the evening. Happy Birthday Woody!!!
